NE MX-5 Miata Spied for the First Time

We have photos of the NE MX-5 Miata testing for the first time!

This prototype was spotted in Europe with German license plates. The new MX-5 will have the NE internal code, following the ND.

What we can see is that the track looks wider, thanks to the wider fenders. Otherwise its hard to get any indications on how the new Mazda Miata/MX 5 will look like since the body is pretty much borrowed from the current generation on this mule.

Expect a new design to move the Mazda MX 5 further on to offer great fun for many more years.

We don’t much about any changes as far as technical specs go, however the rumors suggest that the next generation Miata will get mild-hybrid technology.
