Some exciting updates are coming to the 2022 Miata. On December 16 we'll learn all about it from Mazda.
For 2022, it looks like Mazda is updating the MX-5 to give a third variation of the 4th gen Miata called the ND3. Unveil is looking like December. Look for new styling and options for the ND3 to carry you over until the 2025 5th generation MX-5 comes out.

OK, wow, so I guess we should know soon (December 19th is less than three weeks from now)!
It never made a lot of sense to me that we'd be on the verge of an all-new gen of Miata, so a ND-3 feels right. The ND gen has been so strong and it's only six or so years old now. Plus, the ND-2 was such a light refresh cosmetically, that Mazda is totally right to be planning to get the most out of this generation (assuming that IS what they're doing).
Can't wait to find out!
